This video demonstrates a system that uses and alternative mouse and keyboard for a student that was verbal but could not write or take test on her own due to not being able to write. This sort of technology allows her to do her homework and complete assignments without assistance other than what every student receives. This is a way to help a physically disabled student who still has their mental abilities but have trouble expressing it in a variety of media.

I could see students who have those needs being helped by this sort of technology. It is also a cost effective measure rather than using an aid to do the writing that is needed the student can complete their own assignments. The cost for startup is much less than having a dedicated aid to help with the student’s work.
